What is CrossFit Thunder?
CrossFit Thunder utilizes a mixture of different training types to help you reach your maximum fitness level in a minimal amount of time. We use a mixture of Olympic lifting, barbell lifting, gymnastics movements, body weight exercises, and few other toys we have here to help you use your body to it’s max potential.

Where are all the ellipticals, treadmills, and machines?
Here at CrossFit Thunder the only machine you’ll ever use is your body. Your body was made to do amazing things, but our society has let that fall by the wayside. In traditional gyms, people rely on external means to help them do things, but you won’t find that here. It’s time to get back into using our bodies the way they were meant to be used!
What can I expect from a CrossFit Thunder Workout?
Every day varies for us here at the box (we call it a box because it’s an open warehouse space instead of a traditional gym
). Monday may be a workout that takes 8 minutes. Tuesday’s WOD (workout of the day) may take 30-45 minutes. Some days we will concentrate on a strength movement. Each day there will be a warm up, technique work, and a WOD. We teach the technique so you guys can maximize your time and energy in the box by making sure you’re doing everything right. You’re probably also asking how an 8 minute workout can be anything hard….
. If you come in and give it 100% every single day, you’ll never leave disappointed.
What if I don’t know how to do something?
There is ALWAYS a CrossFit certified trainer at the gym to help you learn the movements the proper way. Each one of our trainers brings something special to the table. They have all undergone training through CrossFit and through Jeremy and Jeb so that we can give you the best possible workout environment and training around.
What is the goal of the program?
That’s the beauty of it all…The goal of the program is what YOU want it to be! Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to get stronger? Do you want to put on size? We can do it ALL!!! Is CrossFit Thunder right for me?
If you can breathe, CrossFit Thunder is the place for you! You don’t have to be “in shape” to do CrossFit. That’s the whole reason we’re here! The weights and movements can be modified for anyone of any skill level. Whether you’re a 16 year old athlete looking to put on muscle mass and get stronger, or a 60 year old grandmother looking to improve your quality of life, this is the place for you. We serve doctors, lawyers, nurses, business men and women, soccer moms and kids! We can do it all!
