Hey guys, this is the second “installment” of some things we want to reiterate while in and around the box. Again, this is directed at no member in particular and designed only to make you a better crossfitter
Standards… What do we mean by standards? Standards in the Crossfit sense here at Thunder doesn’t mean doing the WOD Rx, but doing them correctly. That means your hips go below the crease of your knee on an air squat. It means that your chin goes over the bar on a pullup. It means that your chest hits the floor on a pushup. If you can’t do this, that’s fine, just modify. Banded pullups, lighter weight, knee pushups… Will your time be faster if you do these half range? Sure, but you will never be BETTER. The point is it to do it correctly and get something out of the WOD. Strive to hit your marks every time and I promise they will become second nature. Thanks
